Fantastic beachfront access. Staff were really friendly and helpful. The restaurant had limited options and could use improvement. Housekeeping needs better communication about requests. Overall a solid stay for families.

Location: perfect. Steps away from the beach, with stunning views to wake up to. Housekeeping was attentive and ensured we always had the essentials. Staff? Exceptionally friendly and eager to assist. But here’s where it gets tricky. The restaurant was closed, limiting dining options nearby. Yes, mistakes happen—but communication is key. The lack of legitimate elevators and lengthened wait times were frustrating, especially for anyone with mobility challenges. This hotel has potential. Once renovations are complete, it could be great. Quality should align with price, and this stay missed the mark.

Incredible staff and a fantastic location made exploring the area easy, plus free parking! The beachfront access was a major perk, and the spacious room with a balcony was nice. the A/C struggled to keep things cool, and we faced noise issues from the elevator. The hot tub experience wasn’t ideal—overshadowed by a large group. The hotel was also under renovation, which wasn’t communicated beforehand, leading to a bit of hassle with dirty elevators and supplies everywhere. Breakfast wasn’t included, which felt off for the price, but the friendly atmosphere helped balance the shortcomings.

I absolutely loved that this place was just a few steps from the beach, allowing me to wake up to stunning ocean views every morning and take relaxing strolls along the shore at any time; plus, it was super convenient to explore all the nearby delights, including the USS Lexington Museum just a little over half a kilometer away, the lively restaurants like Islands Bar and Grill only about a minute walk down the street, and the beautiful Corpus Christi Watergarden less than a kilometer away! The rooms were spacious and comfortably air-conditioned, making it great for a beach getaway, but it's worth mentioning that the hotel is currently undergoing some remodeling, which could be an eyesore at times.

The bed was comfortable, providing a good night's sleep. the bathroom cleanliness was below expectations and needed attention. I enjoyed the balcony with the refreshing gulf breeze, a great addition for relaxing. Temperature control in the room was effective, keeping things cool. Unfortunately, the water from the air conditioner leaked, leading to a wet floor by the sliding door, which was inconvenient. The noise level was generally low, contributing to a peaceful stay. Housekeeping could improve, as the sheets were not clean upon arrival. the friendly staff made the experience more pleasant despite these issues.

The room was in need of serious cleaning—there was mold and bird droppings all over the balcony. Sleeping felt gross since everything just felt filthy and neglected. Definitely not worth the price.

The hype was real! Staff rocked, food was lit, and the swim-up bar was vibes. Rooms were A+. Calling us by name made us feel VIP.
More party zones for us young folks would've been sick.

Location on the beach was amazing, offering a nice view of a historic ship at night. Staff was friendly and attentive, making sure the lobby was spotless. Being right on the beach gave my family plenty of fun things to do together.
This led to inconveniences like having to use the service elevator alongside other guests and staff. The room didn’t meet expectations either, with broken balcony furniture, mold in the bathroom, and an air conditioning unit that took hours to cool the room.

As if staying at a theme park, I enjoyed big, name acts at an award, winning concert venue. I unwound with a snack from the mini, fridge and watched TV. The on, site restaurant's coastal cuisine was a treat.

Great ocean view from the property right on the beach! The staff was super friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. Plus, the location was ideal for exploring the city, with easy access to the beach for relaxing walks.
The property was undergoing construction during our stay, which caused some inconveniences like limited facilities and messy grounds. We also experienced issues with the water supply and cleanliness, as well as some maintenance issues with the building that affected our comfort.

The professional team at the hotel made our family birthday celebration unforgettable. The kids loved watching the Hooks play baseball! The staff was friendly and accommodating, ensuring a memorable experience for everyone.
My wife says that the hotel should consider adding more family-friendly activities for kids.

The room was equipped with heating and air conditioning, which was great for adjusting the temperature to our liking. We also appreciated having tea and coffee facilities available in the room for a quick morning pick-me-up. On the downside, the room lacked free toiletries which was a bit disappointing. I had to call for extra towels as housekeeping did not replenish them daily. The flat-screen TV provided entertainment, but the channel selection was limited. We tried ordering room service one evening, but the menu options were limited and the service took quite a while to arrive. Unfortunately, the dry cleaning service was not available during our stay, so we had to make do with laundry facilities in the hotel. The housekeeping was inconsistent, with some days our room not being cleaned until late in the afternoon.

We had a blast staying at a beachfront hotel for our budget-friendly getaway! The location was perfect, with easy access to the beach, attractions like the Lexington and the Aquarium, and everything else we needed. The staff were friendly and always ready to help. The lobby was clean and inviting. We loved having a balcony with an ocean view and enjoyed the amenities like the pool and fitness center. The room was comfortable and had all the necessary facilities.
The room could use some updating and a little more attention to cleanliness.

i had a great experience at doubletree by hilton. the front desk staff was pleasant and upgraded my room for our anniversary. the room was large with a great view of the ocean and USS Lexington. the beach was right out the back doors and there were good restaurants in the area. the bartender at the hotel was friendly and attentive.

I was excited to walk right onto the beach from the hotel's back door. The convenient beach access made my stay enjoyable, despite a few drawbacks. I'll recommend this hotel.
